Collapsed sewer shuts London Bridge Bus Station for a week

London Bridge Bus Station is likely to be closed till Christmas Eve due to emergency sewer repairs in London Bridge Street.

Last weekend drainage cleaning company Metro-Rod were carrying out maintenance for Thames Water in London Bridge Street.

The workers discovered a collapsed sewer which required emergency repairs.

These works are expected to take all week ? and as London Bridge Street is part of the one-way system for buses and taxis, the bus station and taxi rank are closed.

Transport for London is advising passengers to catch their buses from stops on London Bridge itself.

A temporary taxi rank is operating in Tooley Street.
